High risk and high fever

Unfortunately I had unprotected, bleeding sex with man, who had a lot of women before me (maybe more than 230). He is not  a gay or drug user, but he is a naive girl collector. I think that I had very, very high and stupid risk :( After 6-7 days I had a very high fever, fatigue and muscular aches and pains. Fever was very high at night time. It lasted after about 3-4 days. A few weeks I felt tired. I do not remember any other symptoms.
When I found out his past, I have been extremely anxious and worried about HIV. I tested negative at 11 weeks and 19 weeks ( Abbott Duo test) and put it all behind me. Waiting for the test results was a nightmare. However, over the last couple of weeks I started to worry about HIV again, because I have white tongue and vaginal yeast infection.I tested again, 2 years and 4 months after my encounter. And again my test was negative (Abbott Determine test). Should I put HIV completely out of my mind as a potential reason for these symptoms or could I be some freak of nature and really be positive?

You are fine and healthy. Seek medical help for the problem you mentioned, these are not at all related to HIV. You never had ARS because you never had HIV.

Stay away from internet for search of HIV and its symptoms.

Thanks!
I had a big life lesson - NO to unprotected sex with anyone outside long term relationship!

I guess my problem now is the anxiety and I am reading too much internet scare stories - window period 10 years etc.. When I remember this high fever, I am starting to worry, because it was "typical ARS" (as from the book) Or 7 days is a bit too early?

Well a test result at 3 months post-exposure will come out conclusive, let alone 2 years and 4 months thereafter. Yes, you need to put this behind. You conclusively don't have HIV.

Relax ! Your 11 and 19 weeks tests are conclusive. You do not have HIV. You should concult your doctor for the complaints your mentioned. Even if your "playboy" partner was HIV +, your chances of catching HIV from that single event were not very high.

Now you have already realized, always say NO to unprotected sex with anyone outside your mutually committed long term relationship.

Once again, please rest assured, you do not have HIV.
