Hiv fear

Dear Doctor, I have a concern re Hiv and std transmission. In short, I am a male who several weeks ago received oral sex (protected) and was anally fisted for 10 mins (gloved) by a female Asian sex worker in Australia. About 14 days later I developed penile irritation, no discharge and anal itchiness. I was travelling overseas at the time and was given 1g azithromycin by a doctor in case symptoms developed. I took this medicine as a precaution. 7 weeks have now passed since this contact, and I have had two colds (at 4 weeks, then again at 6 weeks), and continued urethral 'strangeness, vague aches and pains' but no discharge or other symptoms. Can you pse advise:
1. If the condom was not used properly ie placed on my penis with her mouth could u have got an std such as gonorrhea, ngu, or chlamydia? She repeatedly offered unprotected oral which I declined but perhaps in the heat of the moment she may have started without, but I did see her remove it after ejaculation..
2. Would  penile symptoms appear after 14 days?
3. Re the fisting, If the glove was faulty could her fisting my anus have passed on an Std in particular HIV (if she was  positive - not known)? Again I saw her remove the glove but am freaked it may have been faulty, or she started insertion and then put it the glove on later.

Hyper paranoia has now set in, as there has been much reporting in Australia about massage parlour usings unregulated ie unscreened girls from China

I have a wife and am now concerned I may gave infected her with our recent intercourse, despite my best efforts to practice safe sex. (Issue of morals of the whole episode aside). I did not have sex with her until 3 weeks after taking the azithromycin.

Have I put myself and more importantly my wife at risk for hiv? Do I need testing?

Thank you for your time. Greatly appreciated.

You don't need to worry about HIV from this.

Could you have gotten another STD, it's very improbable.  There are STDs that are transmitted even with a condom.  But the odds or oral with a condom passing on anything with a condom are so low, you shouldn't even worry.

Glad you insisted on a  condom.

If the doubts are plaguing you about was the condom on/no on, correct/no correct, then get tested.  But this would only be because everyone should test regularly and hopefully you will stop worrying.

Be well
