Relax ! First of all, understand that not everyone necessarily catches HIV in a single event of unprotected sex with an HIV+ partner. In your case, status of your partner was unknown, therefore there are strong chances that she may not be an HIV+, bringing your overall risk significantly low.

Having said that, unprotected sex with anyone of unknown status does carry a risk, because of his/her status uncertainty, therefore it is always advised to get tested to rule out the possibility of the infection picked.

Your 6+ weeks test is highly reassuring and very unlikely to turn otherwise in next few weeks, at least I or any other community member has never seen so.

However, the conclusive test still at 12 weeks (3 months) milestone. You should relax and repeat the test after 12 weeks of your exposure

1. No ! You can exclude and rule out after getting conclusive results, only after 3 months mark
2.After the mentioned 3 months mark, test is never "false negative"
4.Yes
