How often should I be tested

I am a hobbyist (one who regularly sees CSW's for sex) who sees about one or two CSW(s) a week.  I always use a condom for vaginal sex and never engage in anal sex.  I participate in unprotected oral sex both giving and receiving.  I am strictly heterosexual and I am HIV negative as of yesterday.  I experience about one or two condom breaks a year but pull out immediately when I notice this happens.  I have been doing this for many years and so far have never had an STD of any kind.  Up to this point I have been getting an HIV test once a year.  Does this make sense or to you think I should do this more or less frequently.  I must say that even though I have never had a positive HIV test it is very nerve wracking each time I submit to the test.  I only do this because it is the right thing to do.  I just want to know if I am doing it often enough as my sexual activity with CSWs puts me at some risk.

I am cool with the twice a year testing.  So far I have been just testing once a year.  As far as the condom failures go, they have happened twice with CSW supplied condoms (I know not which brand) and once with ones I supplied, Trojan Magnums.  I tend to have very vigorous intercourse with CSW's and that is what I attribute the breakage to.  I am careful to never cause injury to my CSW partners, several of whom are regulars, and I never use any oil based lubricants. The only lube I use with a CSW is AstroGlide that I bring to the appointment so I know where it's been.  I can't think of anything else I can do to prevent breakage except lesson the intensity of my encounters; and that's not going to happen.

Anyone that is sexually active should be tested at least annually, in your case at least biannual. Any time you have a condom failure. Which you should look into why you are having condom failures.
