I need your help again

thank you so much but right now it can`t help because it`s gone because yesterday night I had protected sex with my girlfriend who is hiv positive and during the course of the intercourse the condom broke , of which I immidiately pulled out my pennis because I had it break, went to the bathroom checked the head of my pennis(tip) which had no vagiinal fluids since am circumcised. After 9 hours and 43 minutes I started P.E.P. treatment with my first tablet in the morning and my second one which am going to take later on. Am so sorry what just happened but it looks like I may end having no sex, because I was told that even P.E.P. sometimes does not work, what do you think are the causes to that. And in my situation do you think that P.E.P. will work. I need your advise and am really so sorry for the terrible mistake.

For starters I would suggest that you and your girlfriend work with a HIV counsellor so that you can both educate yourself on what is and what is not a risk.  You can't keep on having instances where you don't know exactly what happened, then take nPEP, then test.  It will be a viscous cycle to start.  It sounds to me as though you are feeling quite paranoid about whether or not you are taking a risk with yur girlfriend.  You are both responsible for educating yourselves on HIV.

Right now I really think that you should stop asking questions on the forum and discuss these concerns with the doctor who prescribed the nPEP for you.

Today I feel much better than yesterday, I had a talk with my girlfriend and we talked about the recent condom break and she told me that it does not even worry her in least because the condom broke in the thighs before reaching her vagina. So now here is the situation when were having sex, she was laying on her tummy, meaning I was on top of her from the back. during the intercourse my pennis got out and when I was trying to put it back in thats when it broke, because she told me 100% that did not feel it break from the inside as she was the first to know it broke and she told if in anyway my pennis had gone in after the break she would feel it. I know 100% she does not want to infect me, but given the situation do you think I was at risk ? or should I stop taking P.E.P? because believe me the side effects are reall.
And do you want to hear a joke this what she said  "I can`t believe you are afraid of the condom break issue because  it broke before you  re-entered me" and then she concluded by saying that she even is more sacred about the first problem I got of the condom not fitting than this and she sees me wasting my time taking P.E.P.
After she said that, this what went in my mind, "no wonder when the condom broke I went to the bathroom to check my pennis head and it was dry".
Guys give me your responses and opinion to this

Yes,nPEP has be known to be very effective, however it,s not a certainty.Hope all goes well, and remember to test 3 months after your very last dose of nPEP for a conclusive result.

Your having so much bad luck, you must have walked under a ladder. You had a risk from the condom failure and you know what to do.At 3 months post-exposure you can collect your conclusive result.
