thanks for your answers, I'll wait for the conclusive test
If you only had one enlarged lymph node then more than likely it was from you pocking and prodding it. Keep your fingers off your nodes or you will make them swell and hurt. Yes it is to early to get an opportunistic infections.
thanks, I have another question, a week and a half after my exposure one of my lymph nodes on my armpit grew, doctor said it was not swollen but ites easily palpable and now, more than 2 months later its still there, it dont hurt. Is it consistent with hiv? do they keep swollen or get back to normal after ars? Also, its too early for opportunistic infections?
1 in 2000 risk of transmission. IF your partner had HIV. Why do you think its optimistic? They are experts in their field.
You should re-test at three months to ease your mind, but I dont think you should be concerned and I am sure your test will prove negative.
ok that'sa bit of relief, is a condom breakage for less than 1 min, with no rough sex a high risk exposion? I mean, I read doctors on this website saying a vaginal intercourse le-female is about 1-1000 chance to get it but I thnik thats a bit to optimistic. All doctors I asked told me that I didnt even need to test or re-test but I'm sure its not taht hard to catch hiv with vaginal sex..
does the really small dark red spots on my inner cheek sounds familiar to you?
Symptoms or not the only way you can obtain your conclusive test is 3 months post exposure. They don't test for HIV2 antigens only antibodies.
