Hey all, I have been reading these forums for the past hour or so, and I hope someone will be able to help me sleep. I had sex with a girl (28 March) during one of my fraternity's party's and the condom came off near the end and for a little while we had unprotected sex, she said she was on her period, but I didn't see any blood on my penis, she sleeps around a good bit and I have been very anxious/ worried since. I keep thinking that everything that happens to my body, fever, dry mouth with thick salavia, heart burn, is a symptom of HIV. I was tested at 6 weeks and again after 80 days (2 months 18 days) both with negative results. My doctor says I have nothing to worry about, and that my symptoms are caused by stress and anxiety. I have been to see a psychatrist and she said I had an acute case of anxiety NOS and OCD, I get the shakes and I hyperventilate. I am an engineer, and just want to know what the odds, are here. We are both Caucasian, and she claims that she gets tested once a year at the Gny and says she is clean. I read sites like the cdc and went to planned parenthood and they both said 3-6 months avg 25 days for accurate results. But my doctor and everyone here says 3 months is conculusive, which I am just shy of, which is making me worried. Please just help put my mind at ease by giving me some realistic odds. This anxiety is eating me alive and just need this reassurance. Thanks.
