Lymph node questions and ARS

After an encounter three weeks ago, which by all accounts here would be risk-free, I have an overwhelming pain around the lymph nodes in my neck.

Despite me thinking these were caused by something muscular (as it also seems to be painful at the BACK of my neck as well as shoulders), researching lymph nodes today shows that they are also at the back of the neck etc. I don't seem to have swelling elsewhere.

I don't think they're visibly swollen. However, I need to know some things related to ARS and lymph nodes. i.e. if a genuine case of lymph nodes swelling, would I generally feel fever-ish and unwell? As I feel fine. Also, even if you have quite badly swollen nodes, does it really feel like they're pushing and that your neck is really tight (it's particularly bad at the back of the neck, near where your shoulder joins your neck)?

Or do swollen lymph nodes not feel like this, and only isolated to the nodes at the side of your neck? Some of the feelings I've had in the last 3 days (21 days after my last encounter) leave my jaw feeling very sore, kind of like if you yawn very rarely and get a trapped nerve for a minute or so.

Please only respond if you know what you're talking about!

Sorry reading that back, my response seems incredibly rude.

I didn't have unprotected sex, nor share IV needles. So immediately I'll most likely be told to 'move on' as I 'had no risk'. I'm just interested to know the answers to my question, this is a help forum and I'll only find it helpful if the question is addressed.

Thank you.

Could you please focus on the question and provide an answer? If you're not able to provide insight as to ARS related swelling of the lymph nodes then I'm afraid your contribution may not help me.

As unfortunately, the inevitable 'you had no risk' answer serves no purpose to reassure or help educate users of this forum.

Many thanks.
