Lizzie Lou, I read your article about anxiety and I too would think I was a hypochondriac if I got diarrhea one day and thought it was a symptom. However my digestive system has not been normal ever since the incident and have diarrhea at least once a day, I have no appetite and feel weak, and still constantly have a low fever. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm also still getting night sweats.
Well I stopped PEP after the first dose since it seemed unnecessary. I have also put the event behind me and the anxiety has stopped. However I still have a continuous light fever and non-stop diarrhea. I am always feeling tired and fatigued throughout my whole body. I understand that effects of acute infection don't start for about a month after exposure, so I'm not sure what's causing all this?
Have you even tested for herpes? In your post you said the next morning your face was covered with herpes...sorry but that doesn't happen.
Also herpes is tranmitted by skin to skin contact so it doesn't get into a pimple.
You were given an assessment. You had no risk. End of Discussion.
Teak I understand that as moderator you want to prevent situations from becoming out of hand. However a more detailed answer would help to serve as reference for others as well. Deep throating could have damaged my throat tissues (she was quite large). If herpes got into my popped pimple, what's preventing HIV from getting into there too?
For the past 2 months I was in this site, the experts and doctors in this site stated oral sex is zero risk. Their answer is not going to change no matter how much detail or how many studies (in the other sites) you provided. Believe it or not is your choice, I will advice you seek help from a doctor.
oops I made a big mistake. I meant I gave the blowjob. sorry if you guys think I posted too much. if this error warrants any responses, please do. if not. end of discussion.
Thanks to everyone for their quick response. The reason why I was so worried is because all the medical articles I've read claim risks (although small) with oral sex, and especially with small cuts. For example:
http://www.avert.org/oral-sex.htm
http://aids.about.com/cs/safesex/a/oralsex.htm
the pimple was there for a while before and when I popped it it was obviously not herpes. I've popped facial pimples plenty of times before. besides, doesn't that small potential opening pose a risk for infection from broken skin on "her" penis or precum?
what also worries me is why she was so unwilling to give me results when I asked politely the next day if she was sure she was clean. afterwards i did some research and realized she posts numerous ads on backpage and has travelled across the country with her services.
"My mouth was also covered in herpes the morning afterwards, so "she" was definitely not clean"
did you not just state that you had a "pimple" above your lip the day before?
As you were advised, you had no risk, cuts or not.
Yes I have read other comments, but it seems like all medical sites suggest small cuts or irritated skin in or around the mouth as risks. Also the transsexual had a cleanly shaved penis, which could possibly mean cuts?
My mouth was also covered in herpes the morning afterwards, so "she" was definitely not clean. I also started PEP 53 hours after exposure, so close to the end of the recommended timeframe but not after 72 hours. I am taking a mix of Truvada and Kaletra, which from what I've read can make kidney problems more likely. Do you guys think I'm over reacting and should stop PEP to avoid it's dangerous side effects?
if you had taken the time to read any of the posts on this forum, you would have known the answer to this.
YOU WERE NEVER AT RISK
