Muscle pain and joint pains

I had an unprotected sex last Dec 30, 2015. On January 8, 2016, I started experiencing some discomfort in the joints of my ankles, and then on my toes. But this discomfort did not occur often at the start. On January 10, 2016, I got a massage where the masseur exerted too much pressure on my legs and thigh. I could say that because it was painful. I took a shower the following morning. Went around on foot for half-day for a walking tour. On Jan 12, I engaged in a  sex. The person I engaged sex with used a condom but the condom broke. Although he cummed outside. On January 13, 2015. I felt a pain on my left knee. Prior to that my knees were exposed to the Aircondition for 10 hrs while riding on a bus. 2 days after, I started to feel discomfort in my knees again. Everytime I seat, I feel mild aches on my knees and also on my ankle. I started to feel worried and checked about the symptoms of HIV..I saw that muscle and joint pains are early symptoms. This made me feel worried and anxious. I could not anymore sleep well at night. As a matter of fact, this made me down most of the time. There was one night where I felt cold (the temperature was cool though) at the same time I had sweats..I dont know if that's just the result of thinking too much about HIV. Now, Jan 21, I am feeling mild muscle sore on my legs and calf. Prior to that I, did stretching for 5 in and then jogged for 5 minutes. I seldom jog. The muscle and joints pains were little to mild. They are episodic. What could all these things mean? WHat is the characterization of muscle and joint pain in an HIV-infected individual. How long do they usually last? I will appreciate if you could reply back soon. Than you.

I had the same knee pain after an exposure but only my left knee. I found this from a good site hope it helps.

he most common causes of muscle pain are tension, stress, overuse and minor injuries. This type of pain is usually localized, affecting just one or more muscles or parts of your body. Systemic muscle pain, which you feel throughout your body, is different. It's more often the result of an infection, an illness or a side effect of a medication.

Hello,
Dont try to estimate the symptoms.
Unprotected sex poses a risk of HIV transmission.
An HIV test at the right time will give you accurate results.
A 4th generation test should be done at 4 weeks post exposure and a simple HIV test at three months post exposure.
