I'd just like to say my story, Im 18 living in Canada who has HIV I have not been officially diagnosed HIV positve but it's obvious to tell exactly  2 weeks after exposure I had all of ars symptoms I untill today around 10 weeks after exposure. I believe it was gods punishment for me it was my first ever sexual experience and it lead to me having HIV. The population is 250,000 I'm my city with only around 2000 pos people and I ended up with one of them who is a 17 year old girl, i believe it's my punishment for not Waiting untill marriage, so I would like to tell you all it's not worth the risk of getting HIV from a random wait untill ur marriEd or at least a monogomus relationship . Also please pray for me to still be able to live a good life. Thank you

If you think the HIV meds can really help me then I will get a test at 3 months so I can be official diagnosed

3 months is the official guideline.  And yes, I really DO believe you very well could not be infected.  You don't even know her status. MOST people do not have HIV, even promiscous people.

Just get the test, like Lizzie perfectly put it...man up, and do it.

oh this post is ridiculous and there is no reason for it to continue.

you've been assessed...and testing is the only way to know your status.

if you're man enough to drop your pants and crawl on...you ought to be man enough to test.

until then...move along...there's nothing more to tell you

Is it 3 months or 6 months? So does it mean my reoccuring headaches could be from jaw clenching due to stress? Nurse do u really believe in the 1 in 1000 chance i honestly don't that Is why I know I'm infected

I've already gave you my opinion and my advice.  It's far less likely that you're infected than it is you ARE.  SO many symptoms can be attributed to anxiety, you'd be surprised.

A test at 3 months from time of exposure will be conclusive.

As for the HIV test I doubt I will take it unless my symptoms will make me not want to live anymore which they almost are but If I test before that maybe at 6 months although I already know the outcome :(
