Need your expert opinion on Oral sex

Hello,

I am male 32. I performed unprotected fellatio on a guy about 6 weeks back (January 9th, 2023). He was uncircumcised. Before the encounter I asked him if he had any STI. I decided to proceed since I was told that most people have had HSV-1 and at that time the guy did not have any open sores. He told me that the latest test he had done was in late October, 2022. Further, he told me that he did not have sex since then. But he did not show me those results so I am not sure if he was lying. This happened during our first meeting.

Two weeks after that I went out with another guy. He told me that he was on PreP and in fact also showed me his medication. He also shared with me the results from his last testing which was on January 4th, 2023. He has no STIs. So I decided to suck him off as well. But I am more confident about this encounter than the one I mentioned before since I trust the guy more.

After about 4 weeks, I developed cold sores in mouth but no fever. I have had these sores plenty of times before. These usually come and go during winter. But this time they seem to linger for long. I have searched the internet numerous times about HIV risk in unprotected oral sex and they all say that there has never been a well documented case of transmission. But I am very worried and extremely stressed out. I was wondering if you could help.

Thank you.

So, your title tells us everything we need to answer your question in full. You had ZERO risk from oral sex. No details about who it was with, how it happened, how long, what happened after, symptoms you think you are having are necessary. It was no risk. The only risks for HIV are to have unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse or share IV needles to inject drugs. Air and saliva inactivate the virus and no one in the history of HIV, all these 40 plus years, has been proven or documented to get HIV from oral sex. So, this is no risk at all. No reason to test.

But I performed oral sex, as in sucked. But there was no ejaculation. Is that zero risk as well?
no buts. I answered your question fully and accurately. No risk
Thank you very much @GuitarRox. It does put my mind to ease. I was holding off on moving on with my life up until now.
