Needle stick

Dear All

Last night and during a party , I felt a needle stick on my back , so I turned and saw some guys laughing , I went immediately to the bathroom and on the mirror I saw blood on my shirt , so sure this guys hit me with a needle .

Please tell me if I have any risk of HIV and if I need any test !

sorry to bother you again , but i was surfing the net and all  websites talk about high risk from a needlestick.
you r assuming that was a prank , what if not , and the needle contain infected blood , as i told you i saw blood on my shirt

your thinking is a wee bit irrational.  no one goes around sticking ppl with a needle "trying" to infect them with hiv...come on now!!!!!  you were not at risk from what you are describing above.

hey as mentioned b4 its true that hiv can't sustain the environmental condition for more than some fraction of minute.so all r fine u don't need to be worry!!!!!!

id say no and no as HIV would have to be injected and it would have had to be an infected needle and from the sounds of it it was a prank and it was not infected and HIV doesnt live outside the host
