New at this.

Okay, I'm 16 years old. The last time I had unprotected sex was with my bf, my age, Dec. 12. After new years, i began to get itchy spot all over my body and when I scratched them, it either developped more red spots in my skin, or popped open and bled. This lasted for about a week. Then begginning of February, around my genital area, it began to get itchy. At first I thought it was just irritation so I took a shower and everything was okay again. But it was still itchy, when I woke up the following morning, I checked it again and there were white liquid like things on my genital area.. and some were hard and crusty. I took another shower and after that... it didn't bother me for awhile. But just last night, it began to itch again. I scratched without a second thought and when I checked it, there were red bumps there. Not where hair grew, but just below the lips of my genital area or on the lips. It stinged during the night, but this morning it was fine.

I'm just wondering.. could this be signs of herpes or something, because it's still very itchy and there are still some little (size of a point of a pen dot) bump. I just began my menstrual period as well. Should I be worried ?!

If you are in the States, please visit your local Planned Parenthood office.  They will diagnose and treat either at no cost or low cost.  Also, you may want to discuss safe sex tips with a counselor there.

Please know that the staff at Planned Parenthood are NOT allowed to contact anyone other than yourself (unless you give prior written consent).

Good luck!

Have your parents take you to see your doctor. You cannot be diagnosed over the Internet.
