STOP. What has or has not happened to someone else has nothing to do with you. Get tested.
i just want to know if he has or anyone else has?
What if Teak says no? But what if there have been some reports of it happening?
TEST Simple as that.
Teak, can u please just state if u have heard ever of HIV causing nodes to last for so long. That's all I want to know. Please.
I thought I had said that "Symptoms like nodes are no reliable indicators" though. They CAN appear with HIV+ persons but you can check here that many people are so WORRIED that they have HIV that they really got the symptoms, even though they were not exposed at all to HIV risk.
As stated, I had one unprotected experience with an English girl. She says she is clean but for the two years since, I have had these swollen nodes. All I want to know is if this is common?
Did you or did you not, have unprotected sex and put yourself at risk?
But u stand by ur first reply that these nodes won't be due to HIV for 2 years?
Come and talk with us when you have your test result.
Sorry? There is no? What do you mean? There is no chance they would swell for so long?
There is no "But", you test.
But teak, can u confirm that the nodes would not swell for this lOng?
Test to know your status.
I won't say highly though. The chance is low but it does exist.
Do u think it's highly likely to be because of HIV?
Symptoms like nodes are no reliable indicators. You might want to get checked. 3 months post-exposure is more than enough to give a conclusive result.
But notice though, they could also be out of fear or other STDs, but let's see if it's by HIV, which is knowable by a test.
One time unprotected. I know I need to test to know for sure but just wondered about the nodes. That's all.
UNprotected sex? Oral, anal, or vaginal?
One night stand one time sex. 2 years ago and swollen nodes ever since. But if nodes for this long would not be related then that's great.
What made you concerned that you have HIV other than the swollen nodes? Had you done anything risky?
I have not tested but u say these nodes swollen for so long would not be because of HIV. Correct???
No. Did you have a risk and have you been tested?
