Thanks Lizzie, and I really appreciate it; it is because of people like you that this forum is great. OK, for a few days, at least, you will not see my name, until then....

the only way to get over this is to take the steps necessary to do it.   i'll tell you what i have told negative 777 many times.  NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES!

get off the internet reading about hiv
go have fun with your friends
see a therapist
join a health club
keep your mind busy

just do something...anything.

nothing changes if nothing changes

ask anyone on this forum about their "symptoms" and how they just went away as soon as they were able to accept their negative result.

first, the symptoms couldn't last so long, based on your test, you are -ve.
second, the 4th generation test is enough proved that you are -ve.
bottom line:you needn't to take futher test, guy.time to move on,put it behind you,get your life.

But I have had these symptoms for months now; so it cannot be because of the flue season, can it be. I feel so miserable.

suffering from anxiety can cause you to literally stay tensed up...making your body ache.  also...it is the cold and flu season and everyone is sick.

you have a conclusive negative test so whatever is going on with you...it is NOT hiv related.

stress will do everything you said  in your note, it can kill you, the mind is very powerful.you may have some sort of low infecition in your body but at least you know from your testing hiv is not one of them
