i got my tooth scaling done in apr after using mouthwash for 15 days my mouthbecame dry ,went to my dr he said zinc defficiency causing drynes of mouth and throat,i started searching on net and found dry mouth a symptom of HIV, started pain in underarm and above breast got tested CBC ,ESR and calcium serum all came normal ,started pain in my rib cage both sides, got tested HCV and Hep B ,RA factor again all came bavk normal,its been 8 months i hv no fever but i feel pain in my neck shoulders and underarms tightnes in chest,in sep i started pain in lower abdomen left area,back to dr he said its urinary track infection ,i am very stressed about having an HIV ,severe anxiety for 8 mnths ,i dont know they are lymph nodes that are hurting me but they are not swollen at all not a single one,can anyone help,as i am living in a underdeveloped country so i doubt about the cleanlines of the dental products used for my scaling,i hv no sexual contact ever with anybody ,i am 24 years female

Well don't you think your dentist is aware of HIV and other problems?

I'm sure they are careful and unless he is going back and forth using instruments on you that he was using on someone else at the same time, how would a virus survive?  

But you don't need to live with doubts and worry.   Just get tested like you did for HEP B and HEP C and you'll be done.  You don't even have to wait like other people do.  

Also, everyone should get tested periodically, even if this didn't happen.  So just get it out of the way for this year and get on with your life.

im very worries because my symptoms are going with HIV ,can u suggest me any possible tests according to my symptoms,my doctor says these are all due to anxiety,can uplz help me on that ,i forgot to tell after geting my mouth dry i also gone through some allergic rashes that were itchy they come and go within 20 mins,and painful points in my rib cage and under arm but none of them swollen,i m very afraid that often i cant sleep due to fear,all it started when i googled abt the symptoms,can u plz help me out in getting relaxed

Nowadays, contracting HIV from a dentist visit is no longer a threat. You don't need to worry about anything, check with your doctor what is going on with you and please forget about HIV.
