Q re Pep - please help!

I was at risk from HIV 4 weeks ago - oral sex with ejaculation in my mouth while I had a ulcer on the lip.

I went on to Pep 60 hours after exposure and finish my meds on Monday.

With regards testing must I wait another 3 months now or will 2 months suffice!

Would seroconversion have taken place or with Pep does it begin once the 4 weeks is over :-(

I'm due a test in 2 weeks @ 6 weeks from exposure! If HIV is present would it show up in some respect?

I'm so worried about this! Have had flu like symptoms and sore throat!

Thanks for any advice / help!

I discussed it with my dr yesterday.

She told me as a result of a open sore - ulcer - in  my mouth and the ejaculation into my mouth from him, he who is HIV, that there is a higher probability than a normal case!

There is risk from oral sex surely, everywhere says that? :/(

Discuss it with whomever gave you the nPEP. You never had a risk of contracting HIV.

Hi again

I'm sorry to be annoying you but there must be some  risk from Oral sex if he was HIV +. Since coming of PEP I have developed a sore throat and flu like symptoms.

Please I am really worried. Would this mean there is a possibility of it and would it show something in my next bloods?

Thanks again and Happy new year to you.

You did not have a risk and nPEP should not have ever been given.
