Paranoid

I am a woman who had Unprotected Sex with no ejaculation on 3 occasions, one in April, one in November and one 6 weeks ago. the first two were in the military, who i know does mandatory testing, and swore they had no STD's.   I know you say that dont diagnose with symptoms, but is the reverse also true?  What if you have absolutely NO Symptoms of anything--healthy as a horse?  Does that diminish the need for testing?  Also does being healthy (I run 30+ miles per week) have any affect on HIV and any symptoms?  Thanks for your forum!

Hi there,

Unprotected sex with or without ejaculation is at risk of infection of STDs, HIV included.

Since your last possible exposure was 6 weeks ago, you may wish to go for STD tests, including HIV test.  For HIV test, you may also do it again another 6 weeks later for a conclusive result.  Your 6 weeks result will be a very clear indictaion of your HIV status.

I also would suggest using of condom for every sexual encounter.

Cheers!  : o )
