To get HIV through a needle stick the blood would have had to be IN the needle, not on the surface (SKIN). - Edward W Hook, MD
No. Seek professional mental help for your HIV phobia.
Is a fresh needle can put few outside hiv viruses (at injection point due to contamination) into inside blood stream by injection?
The nurse rubbed ointment on earlier patient needle stick injury.
Yes. there is no amount of blood.
Thank you so much for your patience.
Thanks for the reply. I know, there is no need for all of you to lie to me about the risk.
Please tell me, why there is no chance to transmit hiv in the above specific scenario? I will really move from here...
fear is not fact...and the fact of the matter is YOU HAD NO RISK
kindly move along...you do not have a hiv concern.
I am uncessarly came to know much about this HIV virus. Now there are different psychological problems.... Is it my fears doesn't have any sense?
No matter how many "what ifs" you throw here, your risk will not shift from zero even by an inch
Teak... I read that HIV can survive for couple of minitues... There is a possibility that HIV can still on her finger surface and then it came to my skin surface and that hiv can enter into my blood stream with needle stick or after... there is a chance.... these are my fears.... Thanks.
You never had an exposure and never needed testing.
exactly where do you see a potential risk?
the nurse rubbed ointment on someone's arm and then cleaned your hand to draw blood. where is the risk??? you tell me where the copious amount of blood is and how it got in to your body.

HIV is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
