Possible exposure to known hiv+ person

i visited my uncle family to celebrate xmas with them yesterday.funny enough,his first son(my close pal) is hiv+ which i knew.we talkd about his health and all that and he told me about his bleeding/receiding gum.During lunch today,i was choking up with food he handed me a half glass of water to releif myself.But it happened that he was drinking from this cup before he gave it to me.can he pass hiv to me if fresh blood from his bleeding gum enterd the water or sticked to the glass?i need advice

thank u argentineguy.i also though of that.i was xposed 3 months to a new girl friend(unprotected vagina sex) prior to him testd v+. i askd him to work me and my girlfriend to testing center to check our  statue since it is over window period.thank God me and my girl came out negative.He decided to check his statue and behold he is v+.After my xposure i had a lot of symptoms (fatigue,weight loss,chest/back pain,etc)but i has since ignored them,but some still persist till date.Do i need the 6 months test?

NO risk
virus outside its host its unable to infect
also consider bleeding gum its in contact with saliva that unable the virus
and more ,, bleeding its not a 24hs 7 days situation
