7-8 weeks symptoms

i had a high risk exposure about 8.5 weeks ago...
transvestite escort, first time, drunk.
anal receptive protected then unprotected 2nd time (didn't know till after)
i freaked out when i turned around and was told its ok she was clean, oh and then its ok  she didn't ***... i was horrified as i thought that was pretty wreckless for a sex worker, then she asked whether i was clean...
i felt 100% i was clean before then... i'm in a steady relationship with a girl and had an urge to experiment (not my thing... now i know)

my symptoms from exposure
~ 4-5 weeks hayfever/allergies ie runny nose, fevers no real sore throat yet up until the other day so week 8 (runny nose apparently not HIV symptom?)
after 7 weeks developed sore throat to the point of struggling to talk for a few days coughing etc (may have been due to too much time jumping from cool air conditioning to humid wether outside)
after 7.5-8 weeks (in the past few days) developed some horrible pains in my right arm, hand, wrist (i want to chop it off at the neck) almost like athritis pain in the hand, sensitive pain along the veins inside my wrist and stabbing pain along the underside of my bicep. armpit painful also... dull/throbbing pains.
similar on my upper arm on my left ie. bicep and armpit.
i'm also getting irritations during the day at work in both my armpits (itchy... hoping maybe chafffing due to humidity)

now i read that after this many weeks these seem to be a bit late for ARS (haven't looked up what that stands for yet)symptoms. well thats what i'm telling myself.

i was tested at 4.5 weeks... all negative
showed up no immunity for hep b/c

so i have been getting these shots also since then... could the pains be caused by these vaccinations ( i hope so)
vaccinations being 0, 7, 21 days
so at 5 weeks after exposure then 6 then 8...

i'm getting a test done on monday so that would be ~ 8.5 weeks
what do people think of my predicament... am i done... is it the way it feels life for me is F*****

i'd go for the twelve but technically if all goes well i will be on my honeymoon with a lesson learnt on fidelity and not that i will never need to know again but to be hell of lot less naive when it comes to dodgey sexworkers. I 've also had a heap of other stuff going on in my life that may have added to my anxiety (involving some serious financial difficulties)... that may have domino effected my symptoms of late. i feel severely depressed with guilt and trying to hide it from the missus (we are being safe) and i just think positive result... there goes my girl, shame on me... let down my family... her family... our friends... is it posible to have healthy kids hiv+? houses gone... lord knows why i decided to do what i did but i so badly wish i could change it now instead i am bottlled up with guilt and anxiety which is effecting my work... and i'm trying my hardest not to let it effect my relationship... i cry in the dark when i lay next to her in bed thinking in a weeks time it could be all over and all of the above happens.
I've never been this emotional/stressed but the flu symptoms i can shrug off its just thes pains igetting elsewere i don't have an answer for and its got me thinking the worse.

thank you for reading my story and i hope someone could maybe shed some light on my questions and i hope it could also enlighten a few people on a few issues with escorts and also when it comes to being faithful and what your gambling with when your not...

Very important point highlighted by Teak. If you or anyone is within his window period due to a risky exposure, he must avoid unprotected sexual contact with anyone, including his long term partner, wife or girl friend, so that the infection is not transmitted to her. This is responsible attitude and greatly helpful in controlling the spread.

If you were infected yes you could  have transmitted it to your partner. Just don't get the cart before the horse. If you thought you had been exposed you should have been using protection with your partner or not having vaginal or anal sex with them at all. Get your 3 months test and go from there.

thanks for the fast reply... yep i pretty much realise this but reading dr hhh's posts he seems to be happy with the 6-8 week test.
i would have posted this to him but can't afford the joint cc showing this on the bill. i was hoping someone could ease my nerves about my symptoms and tell me i'm stressing too much and it doesn't sound like HIV
so i can stop thinking the worst for the time being

the 4.5 week test was for everything else (STD wise)

if i was positive and after home truths are let out of the bag and she does decide to stick with me... i wouldn't deserve and don't expect it is it possible to somehow have children together without either partner and child contracting HIV?

also if i did contract HIV from this exposure i was having un protected sex with my partner for a few days after... would i have been able to transmit the virus during this time?

You had unprotected anal sex with someone of unknown status. Enough for you to warrant a test, but as of today, conclusive test is not considered before 3 months mark, and a negative 8.5 week test might be highly reassuring, but can not be taken as final and conclusive.

4.5 week test was too early. Next time never take alcohol with a lady together, they don't mix well. and leave you with many ifs and whithers.
