Question on transmission not a personal experience but for knowledge
I read on the news today that there were needles found in clothing at a Walmart in GA. The news story said that one individual was tested for HIV and hep after being stuck, I have read on here that HIV dies quickly etc. why would these individuals need to be tested for HIV?
Not for HIV but maybe for HCV because it can be active outside the body for a great length of time,with HIV,it becomes inactive as soon as it makes contact with air.
