Worry over symptoms.

Hi guys
First off great forum. This has given some reassurance as I am losing my mind.
Exposure 9 years past. Protected vaginally with unprotected oral before that for a moment or two.
Not that it matters who she was in my case a csw unknown status
Symptoms - night sweats,  though may be anxiety driven
Upset tummy, runny nose, acne back of neck. One swollen node - neck right side, thick mucus yellow when sneezing or from nose nose.

Just wondering if I am over reacting or a genuine concern - no unprotected vaginal sex at all

Been to other forums and they are saying no risk

Many thankS

Hello,
There is no risk of hiv transmission for the incident you describe.
HIV can only be transmitted via unprotected vaginal or/and anal penetration, sharing IV works in drugs and from mother to child
Take care

Thanks Bestrong for your reply. Would you say perhaps just anxiety?? Just the swelling on the neck I'd say is what's freaking me out.  Doc thinks I'm a little strange. I had a cyst removed from my back by this doctor and 1 year later the symptoms arrived.  I even asked him if what he used was clean and sterilised. Probably a step too far. I wold tell anyone in my place they have anxiety and are OK but can listen to my own advice.

No risk from protected sex.

Stress and anxiety cause multiple symptoms that you can relate to all sorts of diseases.

My advice would be:-

Work with your Doctor over any symptoms you may have.

Have a peace of mind 4th generation test, when you get your negative result, believe the result and enjoy your life, you'll waste too much time worrying unnecessarily.
