Regular screening or should I be worried?

Yesterday I went in for an HIV test and the doctor referred me to a lab to get a hiv-1/2 antigen and antibodies, fourth generation, with reflexes test done, does this mean they detected Hiv in my urine or oral fluids? Or is This a test to find out if I have it or not? I'm so scared and can really use the help, does this test mean im positive and they just need a confirm? Or is it a general screening test? Please help!!

As LRossi mentioned, this is a standard screening test - NOT a confirmatory test.  Even so, your Oraquick results are conclusive - any time 12 weeks post-exposure.

I know this is only hindsight help, but you could have saved yourself hours of needless worry by asking your doctor what the test was.  You can just collect your negative from the test he's giving you and safely move on.

I also failed to mention that it has been over 8 months since exposure, I did an Oraquick test last night and it came back as a solid negative and they also did a urine test at my clinic and nothing was found, will these test not be as reliable since it's been months since exposure? Thank you.

Then problem solved... You are HIV-.
This is simply a part of your annual checkup as most doctors should do for sexually active people...

I'm just really scared to what a hiv-1/2 antigen and antibodies, fourth generation, with reflexes test is, is it a screening for HIV? Or is this test only done when they found something? I just want to know if im panicking over nothing,  I read online that this test is used for reactive tests, is that correct or is this a regular HIV screening test??

HIV testing as well as other STIs testing should be part of an annual checkup if you are a sexually active person. You might just be lucky and have a competent doctor!
