Scared/Anxious

Hello,
About 2 Month's ago I had broken up with my girlfriend, during the weekend after we had broken up
I had sex with two women one of which was unprotected and she was white if it makes any difference. The other women I had sex with was black but we had protected sex and I had unprotected oral with both of them. About 3 weeks after those two particular sexual incidents I had unprotected oral with another women who was a csw, 2 weeks after I noticed a small herpes type lesion on my penis. I went to my doctor and had a test it was confirmed that I had HSV 2, he also tested me for a wide range of other STD's( syphilis, gonorrhea etc.) including HIV. The HIV test was a blood test. That was exactly a month after the two vaginal sexual incidents all of those other tests were negative. Then I went to my local health department and got an oral rapid test which was also negative. My doctor has told me that I shouldn't worry about the HIV and that it is highly unlikely that I contracted that. He told me to come back in 6 weeks so we could talk about treatment options for the herpes and at which time he will do another blood test for the HIV. Since then I have been ridiculously stressed/scared/ anxious about having HIV. It's all I think about, I cant sleep and im going crazy  with trying to focus on school since this is my last semester of college. I can handle herpes at first it was devastating to hear but I'm managing that and trying to move on, but the HIV reality is scaring the **** out of me help me!

No it is not indicative of having HIV. As joggen stated collect your 3 months conclusive test result.

So having contracted herpes is no way indicative of having HIV? Also does the fact that I am uncircumcised bear any reason for concern also?

-Thanks

Your doctor is correct.

Have an antibody test at 3 months for a conclusive result; expect another negative.
