A duo is conclusive after 4 weeks and any other after 12. Following those guidelines is the only thing that is relevant in your situation. (Your self-diagnosed "symptoms" won't prove anything so no sense discussing them..
I can't figure some of what you said, so I need you to advise if she tested at the proper time.
2 more questions.
1. Is 84 days rapid test conclusive?
2. If both are negative at 3 months and no other risk, and have sex with each other without a condom but get symptoms exactly 3 weeks later, would this be Ars?
Thanks for taking the time for me. I don’t mean to be a bother.
Yeah, I realize that my post is confusing. Before we started unprotected sex, we tested negative twice(3 months between test). Then decided to start the unprotected sex. 3 weeks later I had some symptoms is why I was concerned because sounds similar to what early stages could be.
I tested again 3 weeks after symptoms and it was negative. Just wanted to know if the test rules out those specific symptoms.
You were offered excellent insights by the forum, you are not looking at it. Symptoms do not mean a thing. You have tested negative. If you suspect your partner's loyalty there are loyalty tests for it.
If you feel, she has infected you, take a test at 4 weeks with a 4 Gen HIV test or alternatively at 6 week with any standard AB test.
Symptoms are indicative of nothing. Only testing can tell
Meant to comment like this:
It’s is good advice and thankful for it I just wanted to be more clear to avoid confusion. I tested negative with standard 7 weeks from our last sexual act.
To be clear once and for all?
Ok, so if she was faithful I wouldn’t even need these tests right? Since we both negative post 3 months going into sex relationship. I’m beginning to under more with your help. Thanks so much.
if you feel anxious toward hiv and std infections why not contuning the use of condom coupled with routine blood test ? in this case the negative test will make you at more ease if for example the condom breaks which may happen sometimes even rarely!!
