Types 2 diabetes and hiv testing

Hello, I had I believe high risk exposure on May 29 2011...vaginal with condom but it slipped off after ejaculating and hung in vagina.  I then pulled it out.  I know i had vaginal fluid on fingers and had touched myself on penis, face and nose.  The woman was a csw claimed no infection of any.  About a week or so late i had right shoulder pain, diagnosed as spur in shoulder(xray) then stiff neck with a sore gum in mouth.  this all was early june.  1st week of july  started getting sore inflamed knees both, both ankles, and bakers cyst behind one knee.  Then on July 15th I had a Nueropathy feeling through whole body, feet arms legs...still sort of feel it.  Had emg and nerve study negative, arthritus, lupus, ra, lyme all negative.  Sugar test where all pretty good ac1 6.5 cholestrol 150 ..tested hiv by quest diagnostic 8 week negative..not sure what test probably Elisa.  I dont see a couple bright red dots on stomach that turned brown, and some skin shedding i would say when i shower, i do get exzema on occasion since i was 4 yrs old.  Early on i forgot to mention also i do recall maybe a slight fever and slight headache around july 18 or 19th...SO im waiting on 11 week hiv 1 abs test from lab corp...My sugar has been a little high latetly very stressed running 150 to 200...will diabetes effect the hiv test?  Any help greatly appreciated

Thank you

Thank you for responding Teak....I have been reading this forum for about a week now...and I am hoping also i was not exposed.  I guess my main concern and i know the coincidence is my wife now has a throat infection, rash on neck, she went to doctor and she was told she doesn't get strep , she is a carrier or something like that..I am so far confident all this is a test for me being such an *** and putting myself in this situation.  * week neg is a good sign im sure my 11 week i took today will be negative...i pray...but are you or anyone else aware if being diabetic will cause a false negative....i have read it does and doesn't...not sure how old the info is..That would be it ...every other thread has answered many of my questions...Thank you so much..

You never had a risk by losing your condom when withdrawing.
