Still concerned please read

I posted a question yesterday about the odds of getting hiv from having protected sex with a transsexual CSW. I got some reassuring feedback from some of the forum members mainly if I used a condom correctly and it didn't fail/rip i should be fine. The encounter happened two weeks ago this coming monday and for a couple of days now I've had some of the early symptoms (headaches, fatigue, and what felt like a very slight fever) On wikipedia it says condoms "reduce the risk of sexual transmission of hiv by about 85%." Does anyone know if this is accurate? I'm only posting again because like it says in the title still concerned. Thank you all for reading.

They sure don't, you should move on, as long as you continue to use protection you will remain safe

Mitch do u think I should just move on with my life and stop freaking out? This was my first and only time doing something like this, I'd bet gay men who have protected sex all the time don't freak out about.

wikipedia is not a great resource for medical knowledge, it's too easy for poor facts to be included in articles, condoms are 100% effective against STD's (including HIV) unless they break, if they wern't well the rsults would not be very good at all.
