Dear friends, I took my 12 weeks test today, it was a rapid duo test, the result was negative. Is the result conclusive? do I need 13 weeks test?

one week does not make any difference at that stage, 12 weeks test is as conclusive as a 13 weeks test is

Dear Teak, I have a final question, does hiv 2 have a longer window period? Whether 12 weeks is also enough for excluding hiv 2 infection? During these 12 weeks, I occasionally got few times of body rash, are they not related to hiv at all based on my test result?

How many weeks in a month? 3 months equals how many weeks? It's not hard to do the math.

A total of 12 weeks is equal to 3 months. Weeks and months are increments used to measure longer lengths of time

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results

But 12 weeks is 6 days shorter than 90 days. Does it matter? Sorry for my confusion

Thank you Vance2335, three months is 12 weeks, right? There is no reason for further testing based on a negative 12. Week test?
