Conclusive for what? You never had an exposure.
Hey I got tested at 4or5 months is that conclusive ???
How long did it take for your flu like symptoms to get worse ? @Buster_Jr
Thank you very much for your replys .. And yes I went to the doctor for the 20 min test :)
Those 20 minute at home tests don't test a broad enough spectrum or detailed enough changes that would happen after only 3 weeks. If you were to go to the clinic and explain your concerns and the symptoms you displayed, they would probably say something very similar to what I had said, but the blood panel they run is far more accurate. So their results will more than likely set you at ease. I, myself being positive, think you have a healthy and responsible, respectful concern. Not saying that everybody should be scared to death of people with HIV/AIDS, but for your sake and the sake of your future partners, you should always be mindful of the risks and get "proper" testing done from a "Professional". Again, I wish you the best.
I read that HIV can go through the condom sometimes - You read wrong!
You NEVER had a risk, Your symptoms have NOTHING to do with HIV
Seek help for youe anxiety issues
Kindly Move Along...
I kno but I've just been thinking non stop about " what if the condom broke" but I seen him take it off so I dont think it broke but I read that HIV can go through the condom sometimes.
One more question.
Can the cough that comes with ars symotoms " if their is one "
Could it turn into a productive cough with post nasal drip and acute bronchitis ? And can it last two months?
You never had a risk and didnt need testing from what you describe
Thanks for your replys :)
Is testing at 3 weeks any good cause I got a HIV 20 min test at 3 weeks after and was negitive as that any good ??
Well Teak, it is always a good and intelligent plan to be tested more often than once every 12 months, depending on the individuals sexual activity and number of sexual partners. I suggested in a month because of the cold/flu-like symptom's that come with the onset of getting infected and the fact that it is known that the partner is infected.
I personally was the victim of wrong place, right time. I happened to witness a horrific Semi-Truck v. Ford Ranger accident and while trying to rescue the driver of the little Ford Ranger, who had been scalped and pinned in the cab, and her sister was the passenger. i inadvertantly got cut in the wreckage, and found out a couple months later that I contracted from the driver. Like I said if you were protected you should be fine, I wish you luck, I believe you'll be fine.
There is no reason for him to have a test in a month. If he is sexually active he should test annually.
I'm no doctor but, it kind of sounds like you just have a common bug. I remember vividly about 2 weeks after I contracted HIV I had what seemed like regular Flu symptoms until it progressed, it was the worst "Flu" I'd ever had and it lasted 10 day's. If the sex was protected you should be fine, no need for undue stress. but in a month it's always a good idea to get tested regularly.
you never had a risk,, so its not hiv related
