Suspected hiv notice coming

I am a 37 year old, single male and in early Setember 2010, I made a very stuip mistake and had unprotected, receiving anal sex. A few weeks later my body started going crazy. I started having frequent diarrhea and or loose stool. I went to my pcp and tested for everyting (STDs) and everything came back negative. Fast forward to November 19th, I had to go the er with severe stomach cramps and pain. I was diagnosed with a bad appendix and it was removed. Fast forward to December 19th and I'm still having loose stool and or diarrhea and now I'm also having night sweats. I went to pcp today (Dec 19th). She said my lymph nodes were not swollen nor did I have a temperature. She did understand my concerns and ordered new a hiv test. I won't have results for at least a week. I read on-line that men presenting with appendix issues have an increased rate of hiv infection. The guy I slept with swears he is clean, I don't know if I can believe him becuase I didn't know him that well. What are my chances of not having hiv?

You had a risk.. Reading online about HIV is the wrong thing to do it fuels the fire.. I mean you type in Burping and HIV you will find something I am sure..... Appendix surgery dosent mean you have HIV either there are many Americans who have the appendix removed daily... Have you had your Gall Bladder looked at? Sometimes you can have Gallbladder stones and that will cause stomach issues... Oh lets not forget Stress and Anxiety.. See you get my point? So far your test are negative makes sure you do a final test 84 to 90 days after the exposure and it will be conclusive..

Just remember the longer you stay online looking for answers the longer you will fuel your own stress and anxiety....
