i still cannot take my mind from the fact that the condom could have had a minor tear while I was performing unprotected oral sex on her...
Not sure why you're back asking questions- since you're already on PEP you seem to have made up your mind that you are at risk.
Anyway, to answer your question- no that isn't a route of infection. Secretions are not infectious outside the body.
I kept on thinking...The TS escort was fingering herself anal. And then, she touched her penis with the same hand, before I started performing oral sex on her. Even if she wore a condom, is there a chance she could have infected me with the fingers that she used for both fingering and touching her penis?
I'm not trying to scare you. I'm giving you the facts. You are taking nPEP when you've had NO risk of HIV. ANY medication comes with risks to your health, liver failure being high on the list. That would be like you taking TB medicine because you were in a room with someone coughing a lot. You are basing everything on FEAR, not FACT.
nPEP comes with risks that MUST be considered. had you had a REAL risk, with a confirmed + person, then the beneifts would have likely outweighed the risks. You just refuse to listen to reason. Likle I said, you really need to seek professional help.
Why are you trying to scare me even more?
How can you assume I will get liver failure from taking the PEP treatment?
The dosage prescribed to me isn't even that strong compared to others I have read. - lamivudine (150 mg) and zidovudine (300 mg) - twice a day.
LOL...no overreaction, nPEP comes with REAL risks, they are extremely power antiviral medications. Your fear is way misplaced. You're not at all worried about taking a powerful medication for NO reason, yet you're worried about HIV, which is not a concern for you. Wait til you end up with liver failure.
Also, because you did not PAY for the nPEP, does not mean it was "free". Someone, somehow, somewhere, will pay for that. It's wasteful, and it was never necessary.
You seriously need to move on now....we've said all we need to say...you're just posting excessively at this point. Hope you get some professional help.

1. Living in Germany has it's perks. One of them is that HIV treatment is fully covered by the state, including PEP treatment. So I did not spend a single euro/dolar.
2. I think you are over-reacting about the fact that PEP can kill me. There are millions of HIV patients or people on PEP that take these drugs. Why are said this?
You are needlessly spending $1000s of dollars on a treatment that could kill you because you are mentally hung up on HIV. It is not an efficient treatment in your case- it is a harmful one. The money would be better spent on mental help.
You were given nPEP for no reason, you had no risk & you don't need testing. What you need to do is seek professional help right away.
Move along, you never had an exposure.
Come on...pls...I just need to know if this would be an efficient treatment.
Not much to ask...And I promise I will not post again...
I promise this will be my last post.
Let's assume that my PEP treatment was needed. Currently I am taking lamivudine zidovudine teva tablets - lamivudine (150 mg) and zidovudine (300 mg). I started the treatment 29 hours post-exposure.
Is this a good treatment?
How efficient will this treatment be in preventing a possible HIV infection?
Thank you...

what about this statement of H. Hunter Handsfield, M.D.:
Oral sex is not just a theoretical risk. It is a real risk, but the efficiency of transmission is low. Most people infected by oral sex are the oral pertners who perform fellatio on HIV infected men.

I finally convinced my doctor that i want PEP. I went to the emergency and received the first Lamivudine/zidovudine pills.
So, I started the first PEP pill 29 hours post exposure. I that too late?
I just talked with my doctor, he said he does not recommend PEP at all, and that it will do me harm with no reliable reason.
I am so afraid of what it will follow...
You've received your risk assessment here, we don't require that you believe it. You have the information we have supplied, what you do with that info is up to you, but we simply cannot continue to go back and forth about it.
Ask those sites, we have give you Dr's statements and studies done. Nothing more we can do.
Just pls tell me why most medical sites describe oral sex as posing some risk of getting HIV?
such as : http://www.avert.org/oral-sex.htm
http://aids.about.com/cs/safesex/a/oralsex.htm

I am not trying to contradict you pointlessly, I am just seeking an answer.
Pls help...
