Tb test

I recently took a tb test at a job I got a week ago dealing with mental health. I took the test at the location I work at. When I arrived in the office for the medical assistant to conduct the test, the syringe had already been opened. I'm worried that he reused an old syringe to conduct a tb skin test which could have been used on someone that's hiv positive. Do I have anything to worry about even if the tb syringe was reused? I didn't see any blood in or on the syringe and as far as I know I did not get injected into a vein.

Thank you for your input, but how can one be sure that the needle isn't reused? It was opened when I got in the room to conduct the test.

The point is that it would never happen so you don't need to worry about it.

Thanks for your input and I respect you as I have browsed this forum. But theoretically if the needle was reused does a tb test needle pose a threat to infect someone as it is just a skin test?

The way they manufacture the TB test it's only for single use. It's literally not possible to reuse because of how its made, so you have nothing to worry about.
