Testing accuracy

Hi I had a test done exactly 4 months after a possible exposure and the result was non reactive. The test was not 4th generation ELISA but 3rd generation should relay on it or test again in two months time to be sure?

If your test was 3 months after and it was negative no need for more testing

A non-reactive HIV test means that you're HIV negative. There are no antibodies in your blood so therefore there is no HIV in your system. You need no more testing

If you had a risk test at 3 months post exposure for a conclusive test result.
