The risk of HIV

Hi,experts! Last week, I had sex with a prostitute. Certainly, I used condom. Honestly, the process of sex only lasted about 1 miniute。 But the problem is that I was drunk at that time, I am not clear whether the condom failed, broken or whatever. Hence, considering about the sex time and the description, plz help me to analyze the risk of HIV, THX very much!

Sorry, Teak, u may misunderstand my meaning. I do think u value ur life.
Just I am always busy with my work and neglect the time spent with my families and friends. I admit I am pessimist and usually complain about work,money, or whatever. But through the experience, every trouble seems intersting, really interesting, I think I should enjoy my life no matter the weather is rainy or sunny.

Thx^actually, I am worried in these days, I was drunk that I didn't notice the status of condom. But after sex, I asked the hooker about it. The hooker's answer is that the condom is not faliure. I'm afraid she lied to me, or she didn't notice it as well.So, the best way is to test.

Yes the unprotected time span does influence can add to the level of risk. But you did not have an exposure.

Hiv can be transmitted through unprotected sex no matter the duration.

Thx for ur answer. One more question, if the condom broke, but the sex time was just 1 minute, is it high possibility for HIV. Or I can say, HIV infection is influenced by sex time or exposure time?

If you were that drunk that you couldn't remember you couldn't have maintain an erection. Had the condom failed besides you knowing the sex worker would have made sure you knew it. You do not need testing.

If you don't remember what happened exactly because you were drunk I suggest you to test. You can take a duo test at 4 weeks after the exposure. It is reliable. Then you can confirmg your negative result 3 months after the initial exposure for an extra insurance. Till then try to keep calm
