Time for testing

Here is my problem. I'm a male living and working in the UAE. The UAE method to deal with HIV is to deport everybody they detect. When you come here and if you want a "resident visa", so you can work here, you have to go through health tests and they are testing you for HIV. Before 65 days I had unprotected sex with a female sex worker. You may think that the sex worker would also have a "resident visa" and thing should be ok but when I asked her (after the act) she said she didn't have and her last test was in November . After a week I'm going to my home country and I'm planing to have a proper test. The thing is that the last day in my country is actually day 82 since the sex encounter and I can't make the test in the UAE because if it is positive I'll lose my job. Should I be worried that it isn't day 84 or 90 ?

Thanks zamzam4 but will they keep the results confidential at healthcare city? I found on the internet a clinic called "Zack Medical Center " and was thinking to try there.

There are NO TESTS marketed or sold that will give a conclusive negative test earlier than three months post exposure.

Which clinic are you going to? There is am excellent one in healthcare city (I think that's what it is called). I understand your concern, it I'd the same where I am.  Female to male transmission is much harder so your acquisition risk is low. A test if any generation from 6 weeks on is an excellent indicator, 84 days will be conclusive for you. Some countries state that a 4th generation at 4 weeks is conclusive.

A 4th generation test is considered by many experts to be conclusive after four weeks.   Never mind  84 days.   84 is conclusive.

Thank you but the thing is that I'll be 2 days short to the 84 days. I've already checked at the clinic it is a 4th generation test.

84 is the same as 90.  Don't worry.  Take it at 84.   Hope it's negative
