Western Blot at 30 Days

Hi - this site is great...found it via Google, luckily.  How accurate is a HIV Western Blot test at 30 days post exposure?  My family doc says she has always heard 6 weeks.  I got my negative results from that test this morning, but am still slightly concerned with her being adamant about 6 weeks.  Can anyone help?

How is it not the right test?  She said it was a confirmatory test so the most accurate.

an antibody test done at 3 months post exposure will give a reliable and conclusive test result.

I don't know why she did a Western Blot.  That was my first and only HIV test.  It's just what she recommended.  Is that not accurate at 30 days???
