When do lymph nodes appear in ars?

I believe I have mono because I have had negative hiv test at nearly 12 weeks after unprotected sex. At 6 weeks after unprotected sex I had a sore throat, tonsilitis, throbbing swollen nodes in neck, bubbling sounds coming from spleen (possible enlargement), and body aches that lasted a well over a month. About 6 weeks after the big ordeal with mono, it seemed like I got a milder version all over again with the exact same symptoms (except tonsillitis),which appeared in the exact same order. This time, after about 4- 5 days of mild sore throat, I had  many throbbing nodes that started under chin and were a little tender, but ached periodically for the most part. Then the throbbing nodes moved over the throat and neck/under jaw after about 2 days. Then about 1 or 2 days later there was a burning pain the occured on both sides of the back of my neck and under one arm pit where my nodes are. the next morning I felt 2 very tiny nodes on the back of my neck, then check my nodes under both armpits and found two small nodes bilaterally that were now painless. Before I got my last test results, I went to my doctor for a follow up, and she said my throat was still red from the first episode, I hadnt noticed anything except a little bit of tingling sensation. I monitored it and felt it a tiny bit sore then the rest of symptoms came inthe same order as first episode. What scared me was the symptoms, with the exception of my reddened throat, appeared before my last hiv antibody test. I thought back and realized that I am not in the clear like I thought. Three weeks before the reappearence of symptoms, I had an encounter with where the condom broke, but i didnt think it was a risk because he voulentarily told me that he that he has not been sexually active in 3.5 - 4 mos. and has had a negitive test around that same time. So i didnt worry, now i am.

My question is  when it is said that symptoms in ARS appear at once, does that include swollen lymph nodes or is it within the same time frame?  Do the nodes come and go? Do the nodes appear at the same time or does some come one day and then day some come a  day later and so on.  Finally, when it is said nodes in ARS are usually painless, does that include throbbing or burning during their appearence and then they become painless? Any advice is greatly apreciated . Thanks in advance!!!

The poster never tested after the condom failure.Do you still think they are conclusively negative and don,t require testing.

I didnt think much about the condom breaking because I felt I wasnt at risk and truely I wasnt going to retest. I didnt feel I needed to, until now. The symptoms reappeared within the expected time that ARS occurs and he was in the window period when he tested negative in Nov. The symptoms, however, are milder and but there are more node swelling that occured in the under chin first, then l kind of gradually moved to armpits. I was raving about being conclusively negative, now I have to retest in 9 weeks becuase I may still be at risk. I wanted to know about nodes swelling relating to ARS becuase I am still at risk, which in reality.

I posted that I was conclusive at the time because I didnt think i was at risk becuase I felt he was truthful and upfront about his status as I was with him. He told about himself before we had sex and I didnt have to ask him, so i didnt think he was lying. Now I sit and think about how wierd these symptoms came back, although a much  milder version and  more nodes swelling, and the fact that he was in the window period when he took his test.

I do understand. But i am scared about the reappearence of symptoms.I know mono last way longer than ARS, but do they reappear during the "healing"  or recovery process? I am not sure if my red throat had gone away completely, but the second time around I noticed a tingling sensation and very slight sore throat then the rest of the symptoms.  It is true that I had mono at first, even though for some reason I didn't get a mono spot even although it was requested, but I am scared that it could  possibly be ARS after mono. The last encounter occured about 2.5 weeks before my last test, that is true. But the intial symptoms during the first episode, I was negative from that and I am sure  that wasnt ARS. That part was conclusive. Now I am concerned about what happened 3 weeks ago, that was my very last encounter. I have a lot more lymph nodes now and they are under my armpits, when before it was just in my neck. So now I have to wait another 9 weeks to be conclusive. I am just so scared and dread waiting all over again.

You don't have an HIV concern you have a conclusive test result.
