Window Period for RNA Test & Rash on Hand Questions

A couple of weeks ago, I had unprotected sex with somebody several times over a 4 day period. Now I have just tested positive for both Gonorrhea and Chlamydia. I am terrified about HIV now because I have a rash on the back of my hand that looks a lot like the Accute HIV rash that I have read about and seen pictures of on teh internet. So my first question is if it it makes sense that the HIV rash would show up just on ycommon (or unlikely) for the HIV rash to show up just on the back of your hand even if it is not on your back, chest, or anywhere else? I also do not notice any of the other symptoms suchas fever, swollen lymph nodes, or other flue like symptoms. Am I worry about this rash for nothing? I mean I know that I am still at high risk and need to get tested, but not sure if the rash is something I should worry about as a sign that I am positive or not.

My second question is that I am taking the RNA HIV test today. Yesterday was exactly two weeks since my last exposure. The place I orderred the test from suggests it be taken at 28 days, so I hope I'm not just wasting my money by testing at 14 days. But I have read other places on the internet that saw this test is highly accurate after just 14 days.

Thanks for the response Teak. I was not even thinking about how early I can start medication if I am positive. I was thinking about the accuracy of the test on the  15th day since last exposure. Everything I see agrees that the PCR is 95% accurate if taken at the right time and that it has a much shorter window period than the regular tests that looks for antibody's. But the site I orderred my test from said 28 days was the window. A lot of other websites that I found said anywhere from 7 to 14 days.

You are wasting your money to begin with. PCR-RNA tests are not sand alone tests and have to followed up with an antibody test. No one with a recent positive result will be starting medication any earlier than anyone else.
