Hi teak i know i have had one fail before last year in a similar situation but tested neg after 3 months when i look back at me worrying back then i realised something i didnt have any real systoms at this time or ones what are a concern for hiv, however this time i have symptoms real ones what i have never ever experienced before in my whole life? and my girlfriend has also had symptoms too and this is what really scares me about this exsposure.
But thanks for the feedback everytime i get reassurance like this it makes me ease a little more im sure ill keep questioning this but even in the unlikely event it did fail ill keep telling myself that its a very low chance she was infected, and its also a very low chance that if in the unlikely chance she was positive she infected me aswell.
When a condom fails you would have know without a doubt.
Hi lizzie what if in the odd unlikely chance the condom did fail but still appeared in tact surely it can happen but its not something you have seen often, im debating a taking a test as i have these small lumps on the bone behind my ear and awful cramping head ache to back of my head, aswell as a ingrown tow nail what wont seem to heel up been bad for over 4-5 weeks now and showing no sign of improving even though the nail has been removed?
I have up and downs when im busy i dont think about and seem to be ok, when im stressed this head ache is at its worst. it seems to be never ending cycle i tell myself i wasnt at risk and no my symptoms mean nothing.
Where do i go from here testing if you are right would be a waste of money and a strain on our nhs is i went down this path i would probably feel the need to test after every episode of sex.

ARS symptoms appear 2-4 weeks after infection and they usually all come at once if you're going to have any. They are usually gone within 1-2 weeks.
The symptoms you describe are from something else.
Please go get an HIV test if you are worried about it. There are a lot of free clinics out there- you can even find free rapid tests.
Someone please any input?
