Ok,I have learned the lesson. Thank you very much!!!
3 months os conclusively NEGATIVE.....
UR SAFE AND FINE>..
AND PLS PLS PLS USE CONDOMS!!!
I was tested at 12 weeks mark and the result was negative. Can I move on or should wait 6 months test because of my symptoms???
I was tested for HIV and other STD 7 weeks after my exposure-all negative!!! I found only some bacterias(Enterococcus faecalis-two small red spot on the glans) and I took antibiotics for them. Also I did CBC and I found out my lymphocytes was 20%(normal range 20-46%). But two days after my testing i had flu-like illnesses(two people in my family had the same at that time),my temperature was low grade(max.was 37.8 C),runny nose, swollen lymph node under my chin and in the groins, ulcer on my lip,flu last one week,i had no rash,no sore throat,no diarrhea,I lost 4 kilos since my exposure and i have white tongue since then, and my temperature is in range 36.8-37.2 C except when i had flu. I also woke up one day with terrible abdominal pain that last a half of day. After I took antibiotics for bacterias,my glans and foreskin became so red and itchy, something like balanitis,I don't know yet for sure what it is. This is very stressful period for me,I am going to take the second test next week,84 days after exposure. I cannot eat anything, still have lymph node under my jaw and nodes in my groins become painful. I think that my test will come back positive,I am pretty sure.By the way this is my first unprotected encounter in all my life. I feel so stupid and so unlucky... But I have no other explanation for my symptoms!!!
Although chances of you contracting the infection due to this single event of unprotected exposure are not very significantly high, however HIV transmission is not a game of numbers and probabilities. Sometime just a single exposure is enough, if all the transmission conditions are fulfilled.
Since you had unprotected sex, you are at a risk, enough to warrent a test for you after 3 months mark. Good Luck
