i have heard at thebody that a false negative could occur due to rare subtype n or o but i also hear that latest test catch those strains what is correct can you help me in this i have been tested negative 2 times one time with ict and one time with cima while having sex with prositute after 1 year of exposure.
so my question is that can my test be false negative why dont doctors are medical authoraties if they are aware of sitution that a test cannot detect a virus strain correct that defect why is there so neglagiance.

Unprotected sex is a risk and a test at 3 months is conclusive. The rare subtypes are only found in very rural parts of Africa. And they are detected by modern tests.
As long as you have had an antibody test at least 3 months post exposure then it is conclusive.
Make sure to use condoms.
