can ARS related to hiv show up within 2 weeks of contraction of the virus ? and are symptoms always systematic? in the case of lymph nodes. are they always throughout the entire body?

thanks. do nodes swell one after the other in persons who do have ars though? or all all nodes swollen simultaneously

You never had an exposure sore in your mouth or not.

i did have a sore of some sort inside my mouth. though.  and also. prior to the exposure. i did have a swollen upper eyelid which has now receded without medical intervention. could it be that the nodes and neck pain are related to the eyelid problems as opposed 2 hiv, given the sore in my mouth

Oral sex is not a risk of HIV transmission. The fragile nature of the virus makes it unable to remain infectious inside the hostile environment of the human mouth. You had no HIV risk. Your lymph nodes are not HIV related.

are swollen glands usually systematic or restricted to one body part. ive read some say that oral sex has a low transmission and lympph nodes are systematic with hiv infection

i have swollen lymph nodes on the sides of my neck and mild pain with rotation of the head. oral sex  on the 19th. of november. (about 2 weeksago)  i woke up with mild sore throat on the 1st of december. and lymph nodes have been tender since the 2nd of december

Symptoms don't diagnose HIV, and this forum deals with risk assessment.  If you post about what you believe to be your exposure, members here can help you determine whether you need testing, and when to test.

Hi Bob. ARS show up 2-4 weeks after infection and can affect all the lymph nodes. Flu like symptoms.
