Thailand condoms are sold in the US and go under rigorous testing by the FDA to be approved to be sold in the US. Condoms are listed as Medical Devises.
How is it that im miss using only thai made condoms and not Aussie ones?
It's because you are not using them correctly.
Its true they are poor quality, the ones i brought from home never broke. But those thai ones are terrible. Not to mention quite tight fitting even the large sized ones do not roll all the way down. I guess they are made to the requirements of the domestic market.. I will always bring my own from now on..
Thailand's condoms is as good as all other condoms when used correctly and consistently.
if you use lube dont use baby oil or anything.
i think the condoms in thailand might be a bit poor quality because only time its ever happened to me was in Thailand
I guess i wont rely on natural lubrication from now on. Thank you all for time and advise.
Yes Australia does test out to 3 months. As you were advised 3 days is to early for ARS symptoms. Friction? Then you are not using the comdoms correctly.
The STD clinics here in Australia dont test you past six weeks, even though i have mentioned it to them, they say they use a antigen/antibody test. Condom failure, to much friction i guess, although the quality of the condoms over there isnt that great. Whats your personal teak? 3 days to early for ars symptoms?
3 months post exposure will give you your conclusive test results. You need to work on WHY your condoms are failing.
I assumed this to be the case. I will follow up with a test a 6 week mark to be safe. Does anyone have the stats of the actual infection risk.. I have read vaginal penetration risks are very low yet there are so many conflicting statistics from 1 in 1000 to 1 in 200000. The GP at the std clinic said 1 in 10000. Which one is it? Thanks for your help
onset of "symptoms" is too early to be ars related...sounds like the common cold.
test to know your status.
only way to know is by testing
test at 6-8 weeks for a good indication of your status
test again at 3 mths for a conclusive result
