I went and got approval for an HIV test k told the doctor to make the paper out till fed 23 which is the 3 month mark. Right now I'm about 9 1/2 weeks from exposure. Can I go take it now to clear up anxiety? Or should just hang in there for another 2 and a Half weeks? Help anyone?

a test at 9 1/2 weeks is a GREAT indication of your status...and is "unlikely" to change at that point...but as you should know by know...only a test at 3 months post exposure will give you that conclusive result.

What was your risk?

You can take a test at any time you like. You've got to the 9 1/2 week stage another two weeks. Wait until then and get the test done. However a test taken at this stage is hghly unlikely to change two weeks later.
