do I have HIV?
I had unprotected sex four months ago. I have several of the symptoms related to acute HIV infection, myalgias, enlarged lymph nodes, night sweats, rahs. However a fourth generation elisa at three months and a third generation elisa at fourth months were negative. Also, a PCR viral load test at fourth months was below the level of detection <400. Is it possible that I'm infected with HIV?
Thanks Lizzie, this situation has been very dificult and stressing for me. It is not always very easy to know when to stop making test. I have been very woried because the symptoms I have are those described for acute HIV infection. However, I know that the only way to know is by a test.

work with your dr to find the cause of your symptoms...its not hiv related.
