early hiv test accuracy

I took a blood test that they drop in a solution write there in the lab 7 days after exposure, it was negative.  How accurate is this test.  I began to feel lymph swelling in groin after 5 days and it has gotten worse.  Now I'm at 16 days post cotact and beginning to feel lymph  swelling in neck.  Please advise.

I plan on getting the early  r n a test monday to ease my mind.  What kind of percentage would you give the accuracy of the antibody test Kaiser did after 17 days of exposure.

Hi, you should do a 4th gen duo test after you complete 30 days of exposure. That would be conclusive. If your lab does standard antibody test, you can take it after 6 weeks of exposure. Hope this helps.

I had a condom break during anal with another man, I also had an anti body test today at 17 days and it was negative.  Kaiser said come back in 6wks and 6mths just to be sure.  They didnt tell me how acurate it was.???
