I WAS STABBED BY A DRUG USER , WITH A DIRTY HIV NEEDLE , ANYWAY I WAS ON PEP FOR 30 DAYS AND TOOK AN ELISA AND A PCR RNA TEST 4 WEEKS AFTER THAT, A TOTAL OF 62 DAYS WHICH CAME BACK NEGATIVE, ABOUT A MONTH AFTER THE TESTS, I GOT A STIFF NECK, SLIGHTLY SWOLLEN LYMPH NODE UNDER MY EAR , WHICH LOOKS LIKE A VEIN POPPING OUT, AND MY SKIN HAS TURNED RED , AND I HAVE PATCHES OF VERY SMALL BUMPS ON MY STOMACH AND WRISTS, COULD THE PEP HAVE AFFECTED THE TEST RESULTS, EVEN AFTER 4 WEEKS AFTER I STOPPED TAKING THEM? The reason that your risk isn't super high, even being stuck with a soiled needle, is because it was a superficial stick.  The real risk lies with IV drug users who share needles, meaning the second person injects the infected blood directly into the bloodstream (into a vein).

Has this guy's HIV status been confirmed, or is it just a suspicion?

You will still need to test at 3 months after your last dose of the PEP, but my guess is, you will be just fine.  Honestly...it sounds as though your symptoms are related to the PEP most likely.  PEP is VERY VERY potent and has MANY MANY side effects.

THIS WAS NOT A DISCARED NEEDLE, THIS WAS A RECENTLY USED NEEDLE THAT THE GUY STUCK INTO HIS VEIN , THEN HE STUCK ME IN THE LEG WITH IT, I WENT TO THE ER , AND THEY ARE THE ONES WHO GAVE THE PEP TO ME , I TOOK PICTURES OF THE NEEDLE STICK , AND REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE, I PROMISE THIS IS NOT SOMTHING I WOULD JOKE AROUND ABOUT, THIS IS VERY SERIUOS TO ME, AND I I AM VERY WORRIED BECAUSE , IM HAVING ALOT OF WEIRD SYMPTOMS ,SINCE I STOPPED THE PEP, I KNOW YOU THAT ALOT BUT I DONT BELIEVE I COULD CAUSE THESE THING BY STRESS ALONE. You don't know anyone that has been infected by a needle stick outside the healthcare field. CDC keeps all records on transmission issues that ended up causing infection and THEY state is has never happen. There is a big difference being being stuck and injecting into a vein.

I wish you were right bro, but my skin has turned red, and my lymph nodes are swolllen and I dont know what else it could be, I know for a fact this guy was trying to give me hiv, he is known for doing this to others , and I was on pep 4 weeks b4 i took the test

your test PROVES you're not infected, that kind of test is very accurate, you are safe.

Your conclusive result will be 3 months after your LAST DOSE of PEP.
