No it would be fine. As long as you filled the circle on the card completely. If you wash your hands that wouldve sufficed to have clean hands. The alchohol pad is to sterilize and in case a sink isnt available. Home access is extremely reliable and sensitive. It uses an improved 2nd generation test, the Avioq Microelisa system. In trials, the test picked up infections reliably as early as 4 weeks. I found an infograph the FDA made in trials. It performed really well and under adverse conditions that might affect the test. In endurance tests, it still picked up antibodies 1 week after card exposure.
Thanks for the advice but I just wanted to know if my hands where kind of could that have ruined my blood sample?
As long as you followed the instructions you should be fine. And to erase all doubt it would be better to get a test at laboratory where blood is drwan from your vein.
